Today's challenge card from DZ Doodles was to create a card based on this image
Now, I took some liberty, and didn't use Yellow, but green instead - the tulips just lended themselves to this color scheme. I also used teal instead of blue, because I don't normally use bright colors like that! I added some Sweet Pea felt buttons, and the textures.
I love this "Wrapped Tulips" image, as I've been inspired by the tulips that are about to bloom in the Netherlands! We'll hopefully be going to see them soon.
I am also submitting this card for a monthly WRAK challenge.

WRAK Spectacular Today!
I received 6 wRak envies in the mail today!! (Beautiful bRak cards too!) Not to mention some MFT goodies, a stamp set from JenMarie at Ippity that I couldn't resist, and an eBay purchase - Wild Wasabi stamp pad to round out my '08 in-color inks. Oh, and my mom's package with 3 packs of GP 110 cardstock is finally here too!
It almost feels like my birthday! Oh wait. It just was. *Ü*
Hopefully I'll have time to play this week, it's shaping up to be a busy one.

Another Blog Challenge!
This time it was for There's Magic In The Air - Paper Cupcake stamps. (TMITA-PCC) This free digi download of the bunny cupcake is adorable. I'm having issues with my printer ink smearing, even with heat setting. Not sure why - unless it's just one that does!
The challenge was to make anything besides a traditional card, and I chose a CrissCross card, which was new to me. Found it at Splitcoast, in the the Resources.
I Love his little ear peeking out! That was my goal.. I think I succeeded.
I really enjoyed this card; the actual crisscross part was easy, and the hardest part was having to keep redoing the bunny because of smearing!

Violets
My first Blog Challenge! Violets, made for DZ Doodles (their image) and ABC Toys and Crafts (Spring is in Full Bloom challenge)
Pretty proud of myself. Copics, and the extra little flowers that are a bit darker are vellum cardstock, also colored with copics. Doesn't exactly work well. LOL.
