Take 3.. Elizabeth's Birthday and ThankYou!

And Lastly,

I had to make something special for Elizabeth.  She watched the kids while I was gone in Abu Dhabi (No worries, Jessica,  you will get something cool next too ;) ) and her birthday came about the time I needed her thank you made. So I doubled up. LOL.

1) Money Card - Got this from Becky Roberts' Tutorials.. well worth the price!

2) Her Birthday Card:

3) Her Gift: A Stampin' Up Charm

And finally, the Piece De Resistance:

4) The "box" it all came in.. a PURSE! all made of paper. And ribbon. And lots of sticky tape!

(Yeah, sorry about the blurry picture in that 2nd one! Iphones aren't the best!!)

I had a TON of fun making these! I will be good and not take so long posting things the next time! (Can you tell I've taken a break lately? Shh. Don't tell anyone!)

Long Overdue Take 2!

Continuing in my delinquency...

Cards For a Cause.. I created 3 (or 4 if you consider colors!) cards for the September Meeting. A total of 6 dozen cards to put together! These cards go to the Wounded Warriors at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, so that they may have greeting cards to mail for free (postage is donated by the postmaster!) to their loved ones.  It's a wonderful service that is provided.

The cards I designed (and if I'm not mistaken, it was my first month as a designer! ;) ) were:

In the top cards, the stamp set was Artistic Etchings, and the bottom left was Just Believe, bottom right was Ornate Blossom and Curly Cute.  All are Stampin' Up!

Thanks for looking!

Long Overdue...

Ok.. so I've been lazy about posting my recent Kreations. What can I say?

First up, The August Demo club met at my house. Fun times. We did booty bookmarks, Acrylic Distress, and Masking techniques.

Then, I tried some notebook/folios that I made thanks to a tutorial from Melissa Stout. Ignore the Scentsy Pen in there, it's just a placeholder; I actually had "RSVP" Pens with matching DSP inserted. Very cute, perfect for a stocking stuffer or a "on the go" notebook.

I recently sold 3 of these (not necessarily these 3) for $5 each (Thanks Elizabeth for peddling my wares!) and I think I'll attempt to make a few more and maybe some other things.. to share the cost of a table maybe with Jessica at a craft fair eventually.  Who knows? :)
