I think I am good at biting off more than I can chew. Loved, loved, loved the kids's teachers this year, and wanted to make something both useful AND pretty as their thank-you gifts.
So, I took on Jackie Topa's Stationery Box. Right up my alley? Normally. Except now, the part of the basement that WAS nice and tidy...isn't. I switched out the "address" book for a PostIt Note pad like I saw some do at SCS. I think it's more useful. Each set has 4 cards, 4 notecards, 4 gift tags, a post it note holder, a pouch for stamps, and a matching Pen. And a Partridge in a Pear tree.
Here they are.. Click on pictures to enlarge them.
And each one, opened. You'll notice that only one has the large cards shown. That's because I cheated and used some that I got from Elizabeth awhile back (If you want details, I'll link you two. I have no clue how she made them. (Well, sort of.) Yes, they're still homemade, just not by ME. ;) They fit the theme, and colors, and I ran out of time and energy! (but it was well thought-out, so no one is missing out!)
Mrs. C's notecards have a butterfly with the triple rocknroll method. LOVE it. This is my fave paper in the blues and greens, a retired SU one called Urban Garden. That's why she got it - I only have a few sheets left! Oh and that stamp - I'm giving it to her. It totally looks like her, with kids surrounding her (they always do!) Do you like that Ornament Punch? Its the one I had in reach that fit the stamp, and it looks mighty fine if I do say so myself!
Mrs. P's box is a bit more fragile, which is why I won't let B take it in tomorrow. I should have reinforced it with cardstock. Ah well, you live and learn! These are all homemade, and I really outdid myself. (Pats on back). Love the colors, and I hope she'll like them too. If I'd had the extra time, I would have done them all with 100% made by me... Ah well, that's life.
Yeah, there have been other projects lately, but I just haven't posted them. Maybe I'll get around to it. Hope you have enjoyed these!

Mrs. F's box has Maegan's favorite pinks and purples. I, ah, went even easier on her notecards and left off the butterfly. My bad. The tags took longer though, along with a broken bottle of Smooch Spritz. They don't like Tile floors. That's my warning.
